Personal Growth – Who am I?
Hello everyone! By the time you are reading this post, I am most likely outside of US attending some urgent family matters. It looks like I will be there until the end of the year and maybe even permanently. Sometimes things happen and we have to leave our regular lives, jobs, friends, and all other things we have in order to help our family members. This being said, I will try to post as much as I can during the next few months, so please bear with me until I return to a normal research and posting schedule. Thank you.
Today we will be discussing psychology. I realize this is a deviation from SEO (at least on the surface), and as many of you know we do it here on this blog from time to time. Generally speaking, the responses via email and comments for the non-SEO topics have been great too, so here we go.

.htaccess File – 301 Redirect, .htaccess Rewrite, and Error 404.
Hello everyone! As you probably guessed by the title of this post, today we will be taking a closer look at the .htaccess file. Many readers have been sending emails asking about .htaccess file and what it does. Instead of sending people to read and learn on they own, why not discuss it here, together? Discussing.
To remove the initial intimidation of the unknown, .htaccess file is nothing more than a regular text file. This file needs to be created in the notepad and saved in the root directory of your site.
In many cases .htaccess file will be already present in the root directory, which means you can just open and edit it in the notepad or via the built in FTP client.
What to write inside the .htaccess file?

Brainstorming – WebCam, EarthCam, and SnapShot Video Links
“Give man a match, and he’ll be warm for a minute, but set him on fire, and he’ll be warm for the rest of his life.” – Anonymous.
Hi everyone and welcome back! I am glad you made it here today, because as always we are going to take a shot at some cool ideas. Critical thinking is what we will go ahead and arm ourselves with before doing any brainstorming. Do me a favor please and look at your hands right now, this second. Yes, stop reading and look at your fingertips. Your fingers have prints that only you have. You are unique, you are special, there is no second you. You can do things that you never imagined before. Power is inside you, you just need to unleash it. Believe in you. Think about it please.
This time we will look at yet another way of obtaining links. However, this is probably the most unusual way many of us ever thought about. Today there are thousands of SEO companies with thousands of SEO professionals running around offering services, google placements, guaranteed search result spots, huge traffic, and many other wonderful things. How do we compete with these armies of SEO boys and girls? We out-think, out-smart, out-reach, out-energize, out-do, and out-everything them.
We can be number one because we can do something only few know and appreciate. We can think critically.
In this experiment we will be placing links on WebCam sites. We will be doing it with style.

Traffic – Come On In
“A successful person is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks that others throw at him or her.” – David Brinkley
Hello friends and welcome back! I am fascinated. Today’s online world is developing at a staggering pace. Everything is moving so fast, especially the traffic. New threats from Google and Matt come out daily, if not hourly. Don’t do this, don’t do that, or else. However, we like to research and see SEO professionals out there that get traffic no matter what the “common knowledge” says. Some people like to call this method thinking outside of the box, investigative research, or simply critical thinking. Anyhow, we are going to take a look at yet another way of creating a point of entry in the online world which leads to any place you imagine. It even could be a landing page of yours if you really really want it to be.
A little note for every enthusiast out there: I do not encourage anyone to try any of the methods posted on this blog at home. This information is simply a documented research posted for observational and educational purposes. Many topics are of controversial SEO nature which always has many people wander but never actually see how these things work. To be a good and honest white hat SEO professionals, we need to know what SEO world includes in it. Otherwise, we are just another SEOs, or white hats, or just hats.
Ok, let’s stop talking about our feelings and go ahead with the education part. If you have been reading ProfitSEO.com for a while, you know that we have looked at many different ways of doorway creation. It seems that the most advanced doorway schemes are almost always in the pharma area. I for one, like to dissect their work and understand what is happening behind the scene. According to the emails I receive, you like it just as much. This being said, in this post we will look at unorthodox way of getting traffic.
Sometimes in order to get that traffic, we simply have to say – come on in.

Site Content – How to Get Content that is King
“Of all the liars in the world, sometimes the worst are your own fears” – Rudyard Kipling (English short-story writer, poet, and novelist. Nobel Prize (1907), 1865-1936)
Hi all. Welcome back! Once again, the goal here is to go ahead and think critically. I am certain, this is the one most important thing we can do to better our existence on this planet. I believe in humanity, I believe in human species, I believe in Good and that it will prevail. How sweet.
Ok, enough of drama, let’s get down to business. So, site content is king they say? Sure, why not. I tend to think of it as a dog food, dogs being search engine spiders. Let’s see where we can get some high quality dog food for these puppies.
Now, let’s note really quickly that many SEO firms out there specialize in site content creation. They usually want a set financial compensation for their work. Also, many people (including some SEO firms) like to generate content by scraping and spinning it to make it unique. This would be all fine and dandy, but Matt Cutts, Google, and Lady Gaga are watching.
So, now what? We want unique, relevant, and intelligent site content. We want lots of it. We want it for free.
When there’s a will, there’s a way.
