Get Links and Traffic – Black Hat SEO Method

Right of the bat I would like to say that I don’t recommend using this black hat seo method of getting links and traffic to anyone. This post as well as all others in the Black Hat SEO category in this blog are only for observational purposes.
In this post I will talk about a black hat SEO approach that has worked for the past 5 years and it’s working and more alive than ever today. This is mostly due to increase in various social networking sites which made the information spread much faster than 5 years ago (it’s insane). This is not a quick black hat SEO fix that gets a site banned after some short sparks of traffic. This is a time and effort consuming approach that requires some creativity to get links and traffic. The result is what every bad boy wants – money.
Ok, let’s grab our snuggies and get to it.
Once upon a time there was a boy living in a big city. He was going to school, playing ball with his friends, chasing skirts here and there. All in all he was being a good boy, eating cereal in the morning and brushing teeth too. Our boy liked browsing Internet and since his creative inner world, his head was full of ideas. Some of those ideas were good, about video games, water parks, skateboards, and what toy is best for the dog named Sparky. Some of the other ideas were better, and they mostly had to do with making some extra money online. One idea captured his mind like that “how we do” song he liked to listen to before the ball game.
He decided to skip on his basketball and lady-friend conversations for a few month while working on his master-plan of that one money making idea. When browsing he saw that there is a lot of people talking how to do this and that to make money selling pharmaceutical products (drugs). After some further research our boy found out this to be one of the most competitive markets online. He liked competition very much, so the choice was made on Viagra pills. After some thought he registered a domain name that included the keyword Viagra in it.
He quickly put up a WordPress blog on there. He knew he needed links to gain PageTrust, PageRank and most importantly traffic from Google and other engines. He also knew nobody would link to his new blog, especially with Viagra pills shop set up on it.
After thinking about this for a while he made his blog about side effects of Viagra and other related pills. He went to PubMed website to read some information about Viagra pills and its side effects. He started gathering videos, cartoons, podcast, press releases and any content that would potentially get back links. He even paid some of the low-cost artist to draw some funny cartoons about Viagra adverse effects. He used all of this content to populate his site. Then he started promoting his site as much as he could. Everyday he would submit his link everywhere he could – all buzz sites, social networking sites, article submission sites, participated in hundreds of blogs and so on. To get the cash to buy the domain name, pay for the artist cartoons and some soda-pop, he had to pawn his 2 skateboards, his bike, Nike shoes, and then some more.
His site did not have any advertisement in it at all – it was all full of information about Viagra side effects and funny cartoons, videos, and podcast to add some coolness effect. This blog had 100% information only, no advertisement, nothing offered for sale – completely harmless.
Since our boy’s blog was harmless without any advertisement, it gained a large amount of back links in a short time. Now, after gaining this large amount of back links, our boy went crazy. He modified and deleted articles, removed videos, removed cartoons, and so on. He completely transformed this blog into a site that sells Viagra pills. He added some additional black hat SEO (filler) articles with long-tail keywords, that he learned by doing some previous keyword research online. With the juice (trust) from all the back links, these extra black hat SEO filler posts ranked very well in the search engines and brought many Internet travelers (traffic) looking for information on Viagra side effects (target traffic) to his transformed Viagra pill site. Soon our boy finally got to see his favorite NBA team play from the front row court-side seat.

I try to avoid back hat SEO tactics as much as possible because the negatives out way the positives. It can get your site serious slapped by Google if you end up getting caught doing these types of tactics.
