Decent PageRank without External Links?

This subject is not new but still it’s worth keeping in mind. Below I described a method doing which can get your site a decent PageRank (will refer to it as PR later in this post) without any external links.
The PR value can be calculated with the formula below:
PR = (1-d) + d*SUM[PRi/Ci]
I will not dive into the detailed explanation of this formula in this post. If we are all lucky there will be a long post in the future going deep into the world of PR calculations.
Ok, let’s keep focus. In the formula above we can see that PRmin = 1-d = 0.15 (without any external links). Now let’s assume that your site has more than 10,000 pages, and there are 30,000 in the google index. Every and each one of these pages are referring to the main page via link, as well as 20 links (to the subpages). Thus, your main page will have the following PR:
PR = (1-d) + d*N*PR/C = 0.15 + 0.85*30000*0.15/20 = 191.4
This means your toolbar PR will be equal to:
TBPR = Log(191.4, 7) = 2.7 ~ 3
According to these crazy calculations above, websites like Digg or Delicious will have a good PageRank without any links due to the amount of pages linked to the main page. This of course, doesn’t mean that we should go ahead and create thousands meaningless pages just to create pages. However, I think that this theory or an idea (if you will) is pretty interesting and, maybe, will be somewhat useful for the webmasters and optimizers when building their sites. Maybe even to some people reading this blog right now:)
